Giveaway Winners!

I apologize for not being able to post for a few days. Life has been good but quite busy, and last night I was finally able to sit at the computer for more than 15 minutes. I wrote a lovely post, and when I hit the button to publish it to you...it was deleted by blogger! I will admit that I have a love-hate relationship with computers and cannot stand inanimate objects that don't cooperate with me!

I was so impressed with the letters that you sent to the President. I wish he could read how you encouraged him and let him know what is important to you. My better half pulled three names from the participants who sent in their letters. And the winners are:
* * * Paula
* * * Rhonda..."The Old Stone House"
* * * Kim..."The Birdwell's Nest"

Woohoo! Congratulations! Paula was the first name chosen, so she will receive the sampler. The others will receive a special surprise. So to Paula, Rhonda and Kim...please send your snail mail address to MizT@maine.rr.com so I can send out your presents. And to all who entered my first giveaway...thank you so much! I'll post again later this weekend and let you know what I've been up to.

Sent you an email. Thank you.

How exciting! Thanks! It was a great way to be "heard" and be able to express myself and my hopes. The prize was just icing on the cake! I loved reading the other posts as well. It just made me realize that though we have different parties, and differing opinions, we all have the same hopes!
